Sheri's Bio
Sheri Karan is a seasoned entrepreneur, mentor, and speaker with a diverse career spanning multiple industries. She founded and operated an accredited in-home childcare business, launched and sold Blind Spot Nutbutters, an artisan peanut butter company, as well as creating Spoonably Sweet, an edible cookie dough brand and currently works in sales in the construction industry.
A SCORE mentor and former client, Sheri was honored with a National SCORE Award for Community Impact in 2015 for her charitable work supporting the blind community. She also has created workshops for small business owners and has spoken at events as a panelist and mentor. Sheri also served as a Chamber Ambassador for the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance.
Sheri’s most profound impact, however, comes from her personal story. A survivor of the suicide of her husband, Troy, followed quickly by the death of her mother, she has turned loss into resilience and gratitude. Her journey of healing and reinvention is a powerful message of hope and perseverance that resonates with anyone facing adversity.
Sheri inspires others to embrace challenges, foster resilience, and turn setbacks into opportunities for growth.
